It's just like the old flash game Grow Island! I used to love that one so much. :)

There is no way you just referenced Steamed Hams. I will never be free.

... five stars.

The game is great. Same kind of challenge, odds and satisfying wins while not being too difficult like the game High Stakes by Krystman. Huge fan of this, probably because it relies on skill more than odds, but still having a good balance of both. It's enticing!

I really quite enjoyed this one! Great usage of color in all the illustrations, firstly. Very pleasant to look at as an enjoyer of the arts, hehe.
It was an interesting challenge exploring everything the first time, but not so impossible (like some point-and-click games can sometimes be) that I felt like quitting immediately. Then the following playthroughs I did were faster, but I found myself completing the puzzles in a different order and seeing how that worked out, such as finishing the game without your ears. Apparently you can heat up the liquid in the syringe even before you ever filled it up with blood...

(I took off half a star in the scoring because there was no main menu button. I had to refresh the page to get different endings. Wasn't hard to do, but the option to restart in-game would be nice.)

It felt cool seeing the five different endings on how to interact with the operator. I think touching him must've been the worst one! How disgusting that both touching him and trying to pick him up yields such awful results... With that being said, great job on the horror aspect - and describing the properties of all the objects when using the different senses! You lovely people deserve more credit for this game. It was wonderful. Thank you!

hey thanks so much!! it was def a learning experience for us to make this lil game, i'm glad you enjoyed it overall and the artwork! this was my first time making assets and sprites for a game so that makes me happy :]

Medals don't work, which is a bummer, but I'm very glad I got to play this game again. It had been a few years.
Thanks, guys :)

Incredibly fun and challenging game.
Not giving it a full five stars 'cause I'm bitter that the medals don't work.

Otherwise I'd give it a 4.9/5.0 (I rage-quitted too many times to count)

You have so much potential. The animation is smooth, the art style is adorable, problem is the gameplay just blows.
I see you have talent, but use it for something greater than this.

I know you can do it.

I've just got to say, I love this game! I've been at it for weeks and I finally unlocked all of the medals. The satisfaction is amazing.
You really have succeeded in making a great game here. The colors have such a great effect on the game, too - makes it real spooky. The adrenaline from all the factors makes this a game you really can't stop playing.

The music is also excellent at heightening my pulse, especially when I jump from my seat because I was so tense when I flipped the vampire card. Kudos to Gruber Music on that one.

You have made a truly addicting game. I salute you.
Good job, and thank you.

This has potential! It really does.
I think it requires a nice deal of updates with a few things: the text font is just not very fitting. It would be nice to have a softer, my fantasy-esque font, if you get my drift; and maybe some sound effect to really get you in the mood and add some excitement - I'm not saying you need a full-blown soundtrack, but a little something to listen to would be nice.

There are a few subtle grammatical errors in the text, which is of course expected. Things like the word "founded" instead of "found," but that's minor stuff someone else could help out with when polishing the game.

I like the illustrations, by the way. Simple and cute.

Thank you so much for both your criticism and pointing out how this could be better. This is the kind of critique I really appreciate! As I learn to make more games, I'll keep in mind what you said when I come back to this text adventure to improve it. ❤
As for sound, I don't know how to make music and add it to Unity(I'm taking Udemy lessons), but hopefully in a future I can learn how to do so and make it sound nicer.

I'm glad you like the art.

I am here. So far it's working out pretty well. I might stay for a while longer.
